What I want to communicate is that in this down economy we have to work together to figure out how we can create new jobs. So, I am am organizing a music centric Unconference in Detroit, which needed jobs long before everybody else had problems. I think that anyone who has attended Full Sail University or similar program should be interested in how people can help each other to learn about the music business through interacting online, starting your own local meetup or participating in an Unconference. <a href="http://fullsailuniversityblog.com/full-sail-university-reviews/buckle-your-seatbelt/" rel="nofollow">Full Sail graduates</a> and other like minded people could become members of a new category of music industry worker that I have been calling a "<a href="http://blog.musicbizcamp.com/2009/03/do-you-want-to-be-a-digital-music-coach/" rel="nofollow">Digital Music Coach</a>." I've been lighting a fire to get this started, but I don't want to run or control it. Thus, I am seeking others to participate in this "Open Source" style of approach, whether or not you graduated from Full Sail University <a href="http://musicbizcamp.com" rel="nofollow">MusicBizCamp</a> on May 21 - 22, 2009 in Detroit is about sharing knowledge to create new jobs for a new music industry. Imagine applying the philosophy of the Wikipedia to a New Music Industry, but not just online. We’ll conclude just as the Electronic Music Festival begins in Detroit, May 23 - 25, 2009. So come for both!
