Cats don’t like hats. Please don’t market this. It’s sad. Very, very sad.

Thanks so much for bringing a smile to my face, and for the joy you’ve brought to my life, I’m a cat owner as well and I would miss my angels so much if I lost them, I’m so sorry for your loss but grateful for the fact you shared your joy with snowman to all of us!!!

You must not use your power in this way, for it is not correct.

How cute. That picture is so adorable! I have 4 cats and I must say - I don’t know if they would keep the hat on for very long! Maybe one of them would. When I was a kid, my Uncle had a Weinmariner dog and he would wear party hats for New Years Eve. It was hilarious. He would even put a noise maker in his mouth but, the dog never could learn how to blow and make it work.

Great picture. That cat looks real happy (ha). I tried that with my cat once, and I got some real good scars.

what a lovely creature . Cute .

I am a cat owner, and once tried the cat hat routine. This cat died from embarrassment. Take the hats if you must, but save them for your chihuahua or dolls.

yes, cat’s love to do this kind of think. Pet owners need their heads checked starting with you. Hey, here’s an idea, why not put that hat on you and post it for us to see?

Hey did you know!!??? It’s true! Old people that own cat’s.. When they die, the cats lick the tears & eat out their eyeballs!! :(~) something about the salt, cats love it!! Well, their probably hungry to! feed me damnit! lol

If I’m going to be honest, I have a few cat hats myself tucked away somewhere. And I both my kitties used to get the same forlorn look on their faces as Snowball, when I used to dress them for the holidays. The funny thing to me is that Jim has the exact same look on his face on his about the author page!

God I love cats. And this pic. And I am so sick of e-bay.

PLEASE don’t mind these other posts I personally think it’s cute cats can have the weirdest notions about what you do to them. And their expressions are geniune and to the point of letting you know exactly how they feel about the situation. I have adopted 15 cats at my fiance’s house and they each have cute personalities that we all love. Some people don’t know when to stop being so dang serious about the cutest things in life. Don’t worry hon your cat is a cutey.

So sorry to hear that Snowball is no longer with you - I lost a 22 year old cat last year and most days its quite easy to cry without realizing why? I’ll never be able to replace the relationship I had with her.

Hi my name is Floppy and I’m a 8 year old cat who wears lots of hats, because, well my mama says because I wear them so well! And honestly I do LOVE wearing them and I LOVE the attention that I get when I wear them! One of my favorite was my flowery easter bonnet which I lost last year while we were at the local Arboretum, sniff, sniff. Anyway you can see me in some of them on my website. I was born with a condition where I can’t walk and on that site it explains all about it. So my mama and daddy take me out regularly on like what you would call field trips! Anyway I wear pretty necklaces and cool looking hats and I saw pics of your beautiful cat Snowball wearing some and was wondering if you had any left or if you knew where I could get my mama to buy me some. Someday I will be in heaven with Snowball and I’ll share some really interesting cat stories with her. Well that won’t be for quite some time, but if I could wear one of her hats, I’d be proud.
Sincerely,
Floppy

Poor cat…………

The pictures are adorable! Snowman was a very pretty cat. I hope someone was able to use the hats. Not all cats probably like wearing hats, but some might. And all the people who post negative or bizarre comments, maybe you should use your time to try to do something good instead.

Putting clothes on animals is a practice to please people. If its freezing and you have to take a pet to a vet big animals may have to wear something. If God wanted animals to wear clothes, we would have Dior making pet clothes.

for the love of god cats are animals not toys, babies etc. The poor thing, I hope at least this person lives in cold country and has purchased the matching jacket.

Half of the posts so far indicate that they find these photos evidence of inhumane or otherwise immoral behavior. Considering all of the horrible things that creatures on this planet have endured, this conclusion is absolutely ridiculous. If you don’t find cat’s in formal wear entertaining, then focus your energy on something more useful to humanity (or cats), or go slit your wrists so nobody has to listen to your useless complaints. For those of you who think this damn cute, well, I agree. A classified ad has never made me laugh like this before.

Oh my Lord! Snowman is sooooooo cute beyond belief. I can only imagine that Snowman is wooing all the little women kitties up in heaven! with his styling lid. They are probably skiing in the Alps heaven together. Hooray for Snowman and you for having fun together!

Well I must admit that this is cute. I did get the answer for a lingering question…How long do cats live?
Someone said that they lost their 22 year old cat….so sorry for your loss and for the loss of snowman.
Our cat Southbound was my husbands cat before we met and we have a love/hate relationship. Southbound loves to make a mess of the freshly vaccumed carpet, and I Hate to vaccume the cat hair up AGAIN!!!!
I was considering leaving my husband after we had been married for 7 years because of the relationship he had with the cat…That darn thing got more attention that I did…petting and sitting in my husbands lap looking up at me as to say “That’s right he loves me more than you.”
Now the jokes on the cat as we now have an 18 month old son and the cat gets second fiddle. Poor cat…our son loves to throw toys at the cat and I refuse to take the toys away. (besides…it is funny to watch that cat run for his life as our son grabs his tale and tries to say “qwitty cat”. (kitty cat)
Southbound is 11 years old now and I know that I will miss him when he is gone…just not his hair.
Rest In Peace Snowball…as well as the 22 year old cat.

I think that as long as the hats do not bother their ears, they won’t mind it much.
My grand parents had a kitten long-long ago (before I was born) and one night my grandmother had drank a glass of milk before going to bed. After they were asleep in bed, my grandfather woke up hearing a strange noise. He looked over to my grandmother and found the kitten laying on her chest. My grandmother had her mouth open in her sleep and the kitten had it’s whole head in there licking the milk off her tongue while she was asleep and trying to breathe. Grandpa grabbed the kitten and chucked it at the wall and there wasn’t much left after it hit. Sorry for the poor kitten but grandpa was a very strong and old fashioned kind of guy. This was a story I’d heard as a kid that floated around in conversation a time or two within the family. He really was a loveable guy he just would NOT put up with anything that could harm his family and I believe he just acted out in reflex and shock because it could’ve suffocated my grandmother to death. Anyhow, sorry ’bout your little skitty, it was a cute little guy.

oh come on people! OBVIOUSLY this guy lived a pampered life-who else besides us weirdos who spoil our beloved pets BEYOND what’s normal & buy hats or other fun accessories for our babies to wear on occasions? And it’s not cheap, either!! The people who think that spaying & neutering is unnatural or are too lazy to do it & keep their pets outside ALL the time I HAVE NO DOUBT would do this in cruelty for their own fun, since they can’t even do the basic necessities for their animals. Besides, someone who cares enough to include their pet in a family holiday event also treats the pet as a family member (which they are), so I’m not worried Snowman suffered at all (except maybe by being the biggest laugh & most fun part of the evening.) R.I.P. Snowman-even in death you still bring joy!
