“Comes with your choice of 12/40 oz beer holder that doubles as an ash tray.” Hahaa class act! Would also work as a tandem for that unicycle mowing experience?

From my hometown. Figures.

I think more of a lawn ornament than an actual working lawnmower. The tire on that thing would just spin in the grass and never develop enough traction to let it move and cut grass.

I saw one of these at the MAKE fair in San Mateo a couple years ago. Transportation + entertainment!

I’m waiting on the Yamaha self propelled version!

I love it! I had one like this, sans bicycle, and found that it was just as effective as the gasoline powered one we’d been using, (which I couldn’t get to start anyway), and also provided a great opporunity for excersize!

Hmmm, I mean bicycle TIRE.

A bit rusty, yet almost a great idea. It would be difficult to ride on the lawn unless the ground is very hard, but if this is the case you probably can’t grow anything to mow!

Friends - This is an awesome idea, an awesome model. Yes, the tire is questionable, but all we need is bigger tire, better traction. How many of us have struggled, sweaty and frustrated with our “power” mowers? And how many of us have learned how to ride a bicycle? I say, lawn and bicycle enthusiasts unite! Be one! Let us ride and mow ourselves into a greener (albeit shorter), fitter, more sustainable lifestyle! And of course, don’t forget the curb appeal!!!

If you used a self propelled Lawn mower it would be much better

What a great way to kill two birds with one stone. You get your daily exercise and the lawn mowed at the same time. I wonder how long it will be before I see them selling at Home Depot.

Neat!!!!!!!!
I took the time to send this picture to several people that I think might get a kick out of it, that does a lot of GREEN projects on their property. Feeds the brain as well as the creative twist.

Not near as productive as a goat, my friend just replied. Ha!
My reply back was “Do not have to feed/fence this mower”.

I see that it is a women’s bicycle frame, good start, but with the angle of the forks
turning would tilt the mower up on one wheel or tip over the rear. Maybe one could be built that would tow the mower. Just a thought.

Does it come with a blade change-out kit so you can use it as a sidewalk ice-chipper in the winter?

This is not difficult to make being a bike mechanic myself. But, folks - lets look at the big picture here. This is going to be the only way to get kids to be active in our near future. Cut down on diabetes, put that kid on a bicycle lawn mower!

Great idea for my mile long lawn. Just needs a bucket and rake at the back to catch the grass that doesn’t get forced down my throat, and we have a winner. Seriously though, love the humor.

This lawncycle looks like lotsa fun . . But I’d be
Embarrased to use this thing in it’s current condition.
I’d have a neighborhood kid use it on my lawn and
Put a rubber horn on it just for kicks. . . ;>P

What does the gas model look like?
Perhaps spikes in the rear wheel would provide traction, and would aerate at the same time! Hmmm. The ultimate green franchise for out-of-work paperboys.
I’ll get this posted to moderntradingpost.com
