My friends and I used to have an annual "Clothing Exchange" where we brought stuff we didn't want anymore & swapped clothes. It was always great fun! Shoes & purses too! I received plant cuttings to put in my garden and in return I gave cuttings. By doing this I don't have to go out and spend money buying new plants. And, everyone involved benefits by growing plants in their garden that they would have had to otherwise buy. My kids, my friends, and I set up a plant swap. Under the " JOBS" section, it would be so much easier to find someone who has a specific skill you are looking for and perhaps don't have money to pay for, but could barter for. Let's say your job skill is medical transcription and you need a computer monitor, and would be willing to barter your work skill for the monitor. Just a thought! Thanks. I am seeing more and more of the economy turn to this as it is a way for us to get things we need and get rid of things we dont. Very glad to see this happening.
