I just like the title ... Ferries for sale - $1.1 million. I read "Faeries for sale - $1.1 million". For what it's worth I LOVE to ride the ferry from Balboa Island to the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach. I've been doing it 43 years, still think it's fun every time!

Cool, i'm sure these are the "Albion" ferries. The ferries are no longer in service due to the construction of the "Golden Ears" Bridge.

I can remember my first time on the Albion ferry, i was really excited and my girlfriend had me all worked up about how fantastic the ferry ride was going to be....... as it turns out, it was the shortest and most non exciting ride ever......... it took about 5 minutes to cross the Fraser River and the you see basically nothing apart from the car in front of you!

It's a shame to see them go though.

Out with the old and in with the new!
